The Conference, mandated by the Black is Back bylaws, was convened from August 18 through August 19, 2012 and consisted of the vote on the position paper and a series of high quality, challenging panel discussions that included:
- Bourgeois monopoly of the electoral process
- Challenging the bourgeois electoral monopoly
- Advancing a progressive anti-colonial agenda through electoral politics
The position paper being presented here seeks to serve a serious need within the African Liberation Movement in the U.S. and wherever else electoral politics are a possibility for organizing and advancing the struggle of our people.
